The use of the Pn-approximation in the description of the distribution of neutrons in an absorbing rod

Abstract

The system of nonlinear differential equations describing the distribution of neutrons in an absorbing rod in the Pn approximation is transformed into a system of integral equations more convenient for investigation. A method of solution based on the use of successive approximations is proposed.
