Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

Abstract

Steel 20Kh 13 is widely used in industry. Preforms from this steel are usually quenched from t > 1000°C and tempered. In this work the possibility of reducing the time of heat treatment of small-size preforms from steel 20Kh13 by multistage quenching is investigated.
