Kinetics of methylphenylcarbinol dehydration in styrene

Conclusions

A study has been made of the kinetics of the dehydration of methylphenylcarbinol in styrene containing aluminum oxide; equations are proposed for describing reaction rates in the kinetic and internal transition regions.
