Conclusions
-
1.
Isotherms have been developed and used to calculate isosteric heats of CO2 adsorption on NaE, CaNaE, and CaE zeolites.
-
2.
The heat of CO2 adsorption increases rapidly as the Ca2+ content of the type E zeolite rises. There is a direct relation between the number of Ca2+ cations in the zeolite lattice and the number of CO2 molecules which adsorb with high heat of adsorption.
