Summary

  1. 1.

By reaction between TiCl4 and sodium trimethylsiloxide tetrakistrimethylsiloxytitanium, chlorotristrimethylsiloxytitanium, and trichloro (trimethylsiloxy) titanium were prepared.

  2. 2.

Dichlorobistrimethylsiloxytitanium was synthesized by the action of TiCl4 on tetrakistrimethylsiloxytitanium.

  3. 3.

The mixed ester, butoxytristrimethylsiloxytitanium, was prepared by the reaction of chlorotristrimethylsiloxytitanium, with butyl alcohol.
