Nuclease sensitivity and methylation of liver chromatin DNA in rats in initial period of effect of glucocorticoids

  • Published:
Neuroscience and Behavioral Physiology Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Conclusions

  1. 1.

Sensitivity of chromatin DNA of rat liver to DNase I and the level of its methylation do not change noticeably 3.5 h after administration of an inducing dose of hydrocortisone to animals.

  2. 2.

Loci activated by glucocorticoids must initially possess potentially active conformation sensitive to DNase I.
