Synthesis of certain mixed complexes of gallium of the types MGaHnR4-n and MGaRnR′4-n

Conclusions

  1. 1.

    We have studied alkyl-hydride and alkyl-alkyl exchange between gallium compounds in the systems NaGaR4-NaGaH4, NaGaR4-NaGaR′4, NaGaEt4-Me3Ga, NaGaH4-Et2Mg.

  2. 2.

    We have investigated the interaction of alkali-metal hydrides and Et3Ga.

  3. 3.

    We have prepared mixed alkyl-hydride and alkyl-alkyl complexes of gallium.

  4. 4.

    We suggest methods for preparing NaGaMe4.
