Conclusions
Methyl-3-O-acetyl-4,6-di-O-benzoyl-2-desoxy-2-phthalimido-β-D-glucopyranoside and 1,3-di-O-acetyl-4,6-di-O-benzoyl-2-desoxy-2-phthalimido-D-glucopyranose have been obtained. These are conventional derivatives for the introduction of the 3-substituted 2-desoxy-2-amino-β-D-glucopyranose residue in oligosaccharide synthesis.
