    Cyclopentadienylethoxytitanium bis-8-hydroxyquinolate was prepared by the action of cyclopentadienyltriethoxytitanium on 8-quinolinol.

  2. 2.

    It was shown that, under the action of propyl alcohol, water, or oxygen under mild conditions the cyclopentadienyl ring is eliminated from cyclopentadienylethoxy titanium bis-8-hydroxyquinolate.

  3. 3.

    Chlorocyclopentadienyltitanium bis-8-hydroxyquinolate was prepared by the action of acetyl chloride on Cyclopentadienylethoxytitanium bis-8-hydroxyquinolate.
