Conclusions

Resistance layers made from very fine titanium and vanadium nitride powders produced in low-temperature plasma retain their good operating characteristics over a wide range of resistance.

Use of a very finely divided mixed titanium-vanadium nitride of composition TixVyN makes it possible to control the sign and magnitude of the TCR of the resistance element.
