Comparative analysis of parameter estimation methods for the compound neyman distribution

Abstract

We consider estimation methods for the unknown parameters of the compound Neyman distribution, some of which are modifications of the method of moments. The relative estimation errors determined by computer are used for a comparative analysis of the different estimation methods.
