Conclusions

At the present time there is no doubt that the unique ability of laser radiation to act only on the desired isotopes and not on the entire mixture as a whole constitutes a tremendous advantage of the laser methods of isotope separation. Such methods are being actively developed in many of the world's laboratories. The following articles in this collection are devoted to the ensuing problems.
