Additional information

N.B. This lecture was delivered by Prof. Pavlov to his class in 1923 after his return from his tour of America and Europe. It was given in the large auditorium of the Military Medical Academy. Most of his class were Communist students, and it is said that most of the rest of the audience were Communists. The lecture was taken by shorthand at the time that it was given, and besides this original and the one filed with the Soviet Government, there are said to be no others. Prof. Pavlov himself even has not one. [Note appended by Gantt to Pavlov's speech.]
