Conclusions
-
1.
The scheme using alkalization of diesel fuels with the recirculation of an alkali solution, is ineffective in the treatment of crudes with high acidity, since it leads to the formation of stable emulsions, consisting of 80% of the diesel fuel
-
2.
There has been developed and put into production a continuous scheme for the alkalization of diesel fuel by the method of a single contact with a weak alkali. With alkalization according to the new scheme, emulsions are practically not observed.
-
3.
The introduction of the continuous scheme for the alkalization of diesel fuel permits an almost two-fold reduction of the alkali consumption, and lowers the losses of diesel fuel.
-
4.
For alkalization of diesel fuel in an oil refinery, it is advantageous to have a single unit.
