Conclusions
-
1.
Polymorphic transitions during heating of artificial and natural quartz specimens in a vacuum are accompanied by an elevated electromagnetic pulse intensity.
-
2.
The EMP intensity in the phase transition region during heating of a natural quartz specimen exposed to electrons is higher by an order than in unexposed quartz.
-
3.
The beginning and ending of polymorphic transformations of quartz during heating of rock specimens containing quartz are accompanied by an elevated EMP intensity and a maximum value of the current recorded during measurement of the electrical conductivity.
