Conclusions
The complexes BF3-2CH3CH2COOH and BF3·2CH3COOH and the system 3BF3·2CH2ClCOOH-BF3·2CH3-COOH are active and stable catalysts of the carbonylation reaction (80–100°, pCO=100 atm) of tertiary and secondary alcohols of aliphatic and cyclic structure with formation of carboxylic acids in high yields and can be used repeatedly without a decrease in the initial activity.
