Zusammenfassung
Die elastischen Fasern aus dem Nackenband werden als homogene Stränge mit einem osmiophilen Randsaum beschrieben, der an einigen Stellen aufgelockert und mit den Fibrillen des Begleitkollagens verwoben ist. Derfermentative Abbau der elastischen Fasern mit Elastase und Trypsin wird verfolgt. Nach langdauernder Einwirkung von gepufferter Osmiumsäure wird im elektronenmikroskopischen Schnittbild von elastischen Fasern ein filamentäres Stroma sichtbar.
Die Fibrillen des Begleitkollagens sind beim Kalb 25–35 mμ dick, beim Rind 40–50 mμ.
