Dielectric relaxation in aqueous solutions and suspensions

II. Dielectric losses and structural relaxation

  • Published:
Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

A method is proposed for measuring the relaxational dielectric losses of liquids at radio frequencies on a background of large conductivity losses. The absorption of the electromagnetic field energy is explained by structural relaxation, i.e., by the processes of formation and destruction of clusters.
