Abstract
By using the fluorescent, DNA specific stain DAPI (4′,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole) some microscopic observations ofCandida albicans pseudomycelium and chlamydoconidia were performed. In this manner blue fluorescent dots were noted both in yeasts, psudomycelium and chlamydoconidia, so evidencing the presence of a nucleus inC. albicans chlamydoconidia.
