Estimation of parameters of linear physicochemical relations by the rectangle of the center-of-uncertainty method

Abstract

Two approaches to the analysis of experimental data are discussed. An algorithm is given for one method of the nonstatistical approach. The algorithm is demonstrated for a specific example. Center-of-uncertainty and least-squares estimates of the parameters in a physicochemical relation are compared. Applications of the center-of-uncertainty method, including for two problems of modeling in materials technology, are indicated.
