Abstract
Responses from questionnaires sent to 29 established projects are presented on the questions of operations and maintenances of existing canal lining and the choice of linings in future project construction. Cost data yielded some important comparisons. Unreinforced concrete was the choice of O&M personnel in frost-free regions with choice in heavy-frost areas dependent on water table and soil type.
