Conclusions

To be mentally ill is an agony; to be institutionalized is a stigma. We should do anything we can to reduce suffering. Most of us come to associate our sexuality with something negative in the process of growing up: shame, guilt, fear, embarrassment, or disgust. There are ways of reducing these sad feelings about one's sexuality. Sex education that truly answers peoples questions is a good beginning.
