Pharmacological study of Corchorus olitorius L., seeds with special reference to its cardiovascular activity

Abstract

The total alcoholic extract ofCorchorus olitorius seeds and the cardenolide mixture isolated from it indicated that both preparations are of cardiotonic, laxative, ecbolic and hypertensive properties.
