On the stressed state of concrete at low temperatures

Abstract

We give the results of experimental study of the influence of internal stresses that arise in concrete under cyclic freezing on its frost-resistance. On this basis we exhibit the causes of destruction of concrete tested for frost-resistance in a working temperature range.
