Abstract
An algorithm is proposed for calculating the optimal structure of the power output system in a multicavity klystron. The problem of finding the minimum energy and phase dispersion of the charged particle beam coordinates is solved by nondifferentiable structural-parametric optimization. The constructive nature of the proposed technique is demonstrated by the numerical realization of the algorithm.
