Asymptotic behavior of the Jost function of a two-dimensional Schrödinger operator

Abstract

We find the asymptotic behavior of the Jost functionχ(Z,λ) of a two-dimensional Schrödinger operator for arbitrary λɛℂ and Z/|Z|ɛS1 as |Z|→∞ We discuss consequences of the asymptotic formulas for the inverse scattering problem.
