Abstract

An algorithm is proposed for estimating characteristic wave processes in underwater acoustics. We obtain minimax mean-square estimates for functionals which determine the solutions and right sides of the Helmholtz equation. Relations are presented which are satisfied by the minimax estimates; results of numerical computations are also given.
