Abstract
We consider the problem of summation of elastic waves propagating in layered media with plane-parallel interfaces. We suggest an algorithm leading to determination of groups of dynamically equivalent waves within a group of kinematic analogs. We show that the time required to do the wave calculation in the indicated media can be significantly shortened.
