Impulsive hydrodynamic models and their role in the investigation of crater-forming explosions

Abstract

This paper, based on a study of the existing theoretical solutions to the problem of crater-forming explosions and a comparison of the solutions with the experimental data, makes an attempt to establish the limits of applicability of impulsive hydrodynamic models and in general to indicate their role in the investigation of crater-forming explosions.
