Characteristic matrices of weakly curved elastic layers

Abstract

The characteristic matrices of plane-parallel, cylindrical, and spherical layers are investigated. On the basis of these investigations, it is possible to determine formulas for the characteristic matrices of an arbitrary weakly curved elastic layer.
