Dispersion of tube and lamb waves recorded in acoustic logging

Abstract

A generalization is presented of the facts concerning the kinematics of interference waves propagating along a well casing and along a column of boring fluid for various models of the well, types of contacts on the boundaries of the cylindrical layers, and elastic parameters of the casing and the surrounding medium.
