Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Summary

  1. 1.

α, ω-Dihydroxydimethyldiphenyldisiloxane and someα,ω-dihydroxypolydimethylsiloxanes were reacted with methyltrichlorosilane and phenyltrichlorosilane to give the previously unknown trifunctional oligomers (I), (II), (III) and (IV) (see table), containing hydroxyl groups at the branch ends.

  2. 2.

Some of the properties of these compounds were studied.
