Summary

  1. 1.

    The pyridinium and barium salts of the mono- and di-O-butoxyethylideneuridine 3′-phosphates were prepared.

  2. 2.

    Barium 2′,5′-O-dibutoxyethylideneuridine 3′-phosphate is completely stable at pH > 7 and is cleaved by acetic acid to uridine 3′-phosphate.
