Zusammenfassung

Die Kondensation von 4-Hydroxy-cumarin mit prim. Phenolalkoholen in Tetrachloräthan führt unter dem Einfluß von HCl-Gas bzw. POCl3 zu in 3-Stellung mit Benzylresten substituierten 4-Hydroxy-cumarinen, die zum Teil eine große, gut steuerbare Senkung des Prothrombinspiegels bewirken. Diese Eigenschaft zeigen vor allem das 3-(2-Methoxy-3,5-dichlor-benzyl)-4-hydroxy-cumarin und das 3-(2-Methoxy-3-methyl-5-chlor-benzyl)-4-hydroxy-cumarin.
