Uniqueness of solution of boundary-value problems for the biharmonic equation

Abstract

New uniqueness theorems for nonnegative solutions of boundary-value problems for the biharmonic equation in a strip are proved. The proofs are based on a detailed investigation of special meromorphic functions arising in a natural manner in the study of boundary-value problems.
