Analysis of motion of a rigid body from its image. Orthogonal projection

Abstract

We consider the determination of the three-dimensional structure and motion of a rigid body from the velocity and displacement fields of its orthogonal projection. A relationship between these techniques is established. Two approaches to the solution of the problem are examined.
