Calculation of surface waves propagating on a current and in shallows

Abstract

Some questions relating to the calculation of the energy of surface waves propagating on a current and in shallows are considered. Terms that take into account the interaction of the wave boundary layer and the average shear flow are introduced into the wave energy balance equation.
