Abstract
Some one-dimensional nonlinear effects associated with wave propagation in weakly permeable fluid-saturated porous media are investigated. The effect of nonlinearity on the damping of monoharmonic waves is estimated and, moreover, the characteristics of the nonlinear parametric interaction of two waves excited in the medium by two monoharmonic sources of different frequencies are established.
