Radiophysics and Quantum Electronics Aims and scope

Abstract

An analytic expression for the space-time correlation function of the intensity of radiation from a point object in the focal plane of a lens in the presence of turbulence distortion is obtained. On its basis, a calculation of the fluctuation of energy accumulated on the sensitive area in the focal plane during a given time interval is performed.
