Abstract
Fruiting bodies ofClitocybe geotropa andClitocybe nebularis were extracted with chloroform-methanol and the extracts were fractionated by chromatography. The title compound was isolated in pure form from both extracts. The structure was verified by NMR spectroscopy, sugar and fatty acid analysis, and FAB-MS.
