Abstract
An exact solution is obtained to the problem of outflow of a perfect incompressible fluid from a half-space through an opening, occupied by a permeable plate. It is shown that the flow rate Q of the fluid in the case of outflow through a permeable plate can exceed the flow rate Q0 of the fluid in the case of jet outflow through a free space.
