Abstract
New heterocyclic ring systems with one Si−Si linkage and two oxygen atoms were synthesized and characterized by analysis, NMR and Raman spectroscopy. The Si−Si vibration shows, that in these cycles there are no additional interactions between the electron system of the Si−Si bond and the carbon−carbon or the Si−O bonds.
