Abstract
The molecular and crystal structure of hetisine hydrochloride has been obtained and compared with those of the hydrobromide and perchlorate salts. These structures have been investigated as coordinatoclathrates and it has been shown that on changing from chloride to bromide and then to perchlorate a morphotropic transition is observed.
