Method for determining the number of uncorrelated sources of low-frequency noise in nonlinear two-pole networks

Abstract

We present the theoretical foundation and a method for practical implementation of the pulsed method for determining the number of uncorrelated sources of low-frequency noise in nonlinear devices. The method is based on the measurement of the cross-correlation factor of amplitude fluctuations of two periodic trains of current pulses with different amplitude magnitudes.
