Abstract
Tomographic monitoring of medium-scale inhomogeneities of the ocean using acoustic waves is considered. The basic integral equations are analyzed. A more detailed study is suggested for two patterns of diffraction tomography: pulsed translucent tomography of random inhomogeneities and hydroacoustic imaging. Some results of reconstruction of inhomogeneity images recovered based on laboratory-experiment data are presented.
