Experimental investigation of the spatial distribution of the intensity of cavitational processes

Abstract

We propose an experimental method for distant measurements of the spatial distribution of cavitation intensity. The experimental results are obtained by investigating cavitation on a rigid cylinder and thin wires. The possibility of attaining a higher spatial resolution is shown.
