Induction and acceleration of yeast lysis by addition of fresh yeast autolysate

Summary

Addition of 15 % v/v of fresh yeast autolysate to the baker's yeast suspension significantly accelerated cell autolysis. The addition of classical initiators of autolysis (NaCl, ethanol) led to further 20 % increase of protein yield.
