  1. 1.

The ionization constants of the 7-, 4′-, and 3-hydroxy groups in mono-and dihydroxyflavones have been determined by the spectrophotometric method.

  2. 2.

It has been shown that the 3-hydroxy group of flavonol possesses the fairly high acidity that is characteristic for hydroxyls of phenolic origin and is capable of stabilizing the aromatic structure of the pyrone ring of the flavonol molecule.
