Abstract
We study an oscillating Instability of a nonuniformly heated liquid in interconnected containers. We examine the influence of the conditions of heat transfer and the geometric parameters on the critical Rayleigh number and the frequency of the stationary oscillations. We make a comparison of the theoretical results obtained with experimental results.
