Reactivity and flexibility in platinum metal clusters

Abstract

The synthesis, structural properties, and fluxional behaviour of platinum-triosmium and platinum-triruthenium clusters derived from Os3Pt(μ-H)2 (CO)10(PR3) and Ru3Pt(μ-H)(μ-C≡C t Bu)(CO)9 (dppe) and related species are described.
